I would not recommend it.
There are some good reasons for this:
— School lessons are full-time for 2-9 months or half-time for 4-18 months. You'll have to attend classes in person, check-in your attendance log, watch outdated videos, practice on mannequins or walk-in customers. as to me, it is a waste of time.
— School education is a pricey thing. Manicure schools begin from $2500, hairdressing and cosmetology schools — from $9000. Top-priced school was found lasr year in California, and it was $24000. You loose you labor time, and you would probably have to get a student loan to join a beauty school.
— Loss of knowledge. If you have an education from any of European schools, then you won't learn anything new to you. Education in american beauty schools still based on methods and techniques of 80s'. Also very little attention is paid to preparing for the theoretical part of the exam.
