Doctors (MD or DO): Licensed medical doctors (MD) and doctors of osteopathy (DO) can perform injections without restrictions.
Nurse Practitioners (NP): Nurse practitioners can also administer injections according to state laws and with the required license.
Physician Assistants (PA): In some states, physician assistants can perform Botox procedures under a doctor’s supervision.
Registered Nurses (RN): In some states, registered nurses can administer injections but only under the direct supervision of a physician or another licensed medical professional.
Medical Assistants (MA): In some states, medical assistants can perform injections, but strictly in the presence of a doctor and under their responsibility.
